50th Reunion Challenge...

At our 45th Reunion on Sept. 17, 2011, our class treasurer, Christina Bauer, issued a challenge to classmates to contribute $100 to begin a fund to secure a larger hall and hire a caterer for our 50th Reunion in 2016.  Since then, several classmates have met the challenge!  Others have contributed smaller donations.

Please consider donating whatever you can to make the 50th Reunion one to remember.  As you know, we had to turn people away from the 45th Reunion due to lack of space.  We can't let that happen at our 50th...we need "seed" money to reserve a large hall, hire a DJ, hire a caterer, provide funds for mailings and for the many other expenses connected with sponsoring a large gathering.

All "Challenge Donors" ($100 or above) will receive special mention in our 50th Reunion Program, although any amount...even $5....is gratefully welcomed.

'66 CELEBRATES -- is our new name for the local Toledo events held periodically every year.  Each event will be a different theme or venue.  These are not "reunions" -- they are gatherings in addition to the 5-year class reunions. Watch for details of the upcoming events on Facebook, www.whitmer66.com and in your email newsletter.
